13th International Conference on Human Integration

Speaking before a large crowd at Kirpal Ashram, on January 31st, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj updated everyone on his activities abroad in Germany, Trinidad, the United States, and Peru. While in Peru, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj received two honorary doctorates for his work towards world peace. Overjoyed at his being back in India, thousands gathered to hear his spiritual Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj wisdom and receive his blessings, many having traveled from far off towns.

On Thursday, February 5th, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj inaugurated the 13th International Conference on Human Integration, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj, father of human unity at Kirpal Bagh. Addressing the crowd, he stated, don’t wait for tomorrow; do it right now. Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj urged everyone to utilize the remaining moments of their lives to find the Divine within themselves. If we are lost in our worldly affairs, he explained, we miss the opportunity God is providing. Let us meditate and give flight to our soul.

On Friday, the Conference site was Darshan Dham, over a hundred acres and half-hour drive from Kirpal Ashram. Acres of Darshan Dham have been cultivated to grow wheat and other crops for use in the free kitchen at Kirpal Ashram and Kirpal Bagh. Another portion has been cleared for hosting tens of thousands of people for large meditation programs. Many worked hard to decorate the stage with cloth banners depicting yellow and orange rays, radiating from a red sun. Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj Red canopies swung in the breeze beneath the blue sky. Thousands of people arrived in buses, trucks, scooters, and cars. Wonderful food arrangements had been provided for the huge numbers.

The topic for the January 6th program was "Kirpal: Architect of Human Integration." Mata Harbhajan Kaur Ji, Mata Rita Ji, and a large group of western delegates opened the conference singing a hymn written by Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj. Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj detailed the history of the Human Unity Conference. Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj radiated God’s love thus influencing many people to change their lives. He recalled one glance from Sant Kirpal Singh Ji could end ‘the dark night of the soul.’ He reminded everyone to take one step towards God and God would take thousands of steps toward them.

A host of speakers from different religions, cultures, and nationalities praised Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj and Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj for their tireless, inspiring work on behalf humanity. A free vegetarian meal was served to 25,000 people.

On February 7th six hundred people had their eyes checked for free in cooperation with the Eye Care Hospital in Delhi. Two hundred and ten people were scheduled for cataract operations with the support of the Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission/Science of Spirituality.

On February 8th, the conference concluded with Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj discussing the importance of not criticizing others. Too much energy is spent trying to reform others rather than improving ourselves, he instructed. Everyone should attend to their inner spiritual life, meditate regularly and develop their inner experiences. Meditate more in 2004, he emphasized.
