Maharashtra Tour

Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj traveled on September 26th to begin a four-day tour of Maharashtra. Often called the land of saints, in the 12th century Maharashtra was the home of Sant Namdev Ji and Sant Gyaneshwar Ji. Since that time, many other saints have carried on the region's spiritual heritage.

Here, over 20,000 people greeted the spiritual Master. In his discourse, he said the Lord can only be perceived through the third or single eye during meditation. When we invert our attention to the inner Light and Sound of God we receive the blessings of the Lord. Later, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj laid the foundation stone for a new Darshan Academy to be built on a two acre site.

On September 27th, Maharaj Ji visited Mahakavi Kalidas Kala Mandir to speak on "Spirituality and Science." He said in meditation one experiments within the laboratory of the human body. By connecting with the inner Light and Sound of God reverberating within, one can find inner peace as well as contribute to establishing peace in the world.

Following this, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj returned to Kirpal Ashram in Devlali where the 8th Annual Day of Darshan Academy was being celebrated. For this, the children presented a cultural program on the interfaith theme "Spiritual Awareness in Mankind" in which the universal teachings of Ram, Krishna, Buddha, Christ, Mohammed, and Guru Nanak were highlighted. Prizes were then awarded to children who had excelled in various disciplines.

The tour continued on September 28th with travel to Dugaon. Wherever he goes, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj gives satsang, a spiritual discourse, taking themes from the writings of past saints and mystics. In Dugaon, he chose his topic from a hymn by the woman saint Mira Bai. Later in the evening, he said we have all been created by the Lord and therefore are all His children. The goal of human existence is self-knowledge and God-realization.

On September 29th, the Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj visited the Golibar Maidan in Pune where he was welcomed by the Mayor. The Spiritual Master then spoke on the eternal nature of the soul. Through meditation, he said, we can rise above the world's illusion into the True Reality within.

Dehradun Tour

On October 5, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj Ji traveled to the picturesque Dehradun valley situated in the lap of the beautiful Himalayan Mountains and capital of Uttranchal Pradesh. That night, he gave a talk at Manav Kendra, a spiritual retreat of over a hundred acres built in the early 1970s under the guidance of Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj, where fifty thousand people were awaiting his arrival. In his discourse, he explained that in the physical world illusion reigns supreme, diverting our attention away from God. Instead of spending all of our time in the activities of the world, we should seek the Lord within through meditation on the inner Light and Sound.

Saharanpur Tour

On Saturday, October 8th, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj and his party left Dehradun for Saharanpur where more than forty thousand people had gathered to welcome him. In his discourse here, he spoke about the two aspects of love: union and separation. In order to become one with the Lord, he said, the spiritual aspirant first has to undergo the stage of separation. The yearning the soul experiences when it undergoes the state of separation ultimately helps the soul to progress rapidly on its inward journey until it reaches its True Home.
