God Awaits Us Within: A Spiritual Talk in Delhi
Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj delivered his Sunday discourse this evening at Kirpal Bagh. His talk focused on where to search for God.
Expounding on the verses of the poet saint, Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj, he said that we have been given this human birth as an opportunity to find God. We are unsuccessful in our search for God on the outside because God is hidden within us. God is found within the temple of the human body.
When we sit in silence and focus our attention within ourselves, we can contact the divine Light and Sound of God. A connection with this power of God fills us with love, light and bliss, and reveals the mysteries of life to us.
When we realize that God wants us to lead a joyful life imbued with the love of God, we awaken from the illusion and confusion of the life of the senses, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji said. We then rise into the reality and bliss of the inner spiritual regions. The key is to focus our attention within. It is through the help and guidance of a spiritual adept that we can learn the technique of meditation and progress on this journey.
