Dr. Duggal is Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and serves as the Director of Physician Development for Medrina, the largest Physiatry group in the United States.

He received two bachelor degrees in the fields of Finance and Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He went on to obtain his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL and completed his residency training in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Rush University Medical Center, where he currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

He practices Physiatry within the sub-acute rehabilitation environment throughout the Greater Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana. He heads the Service Leadership Institute for the Institute for Meditation and Inner Harmony and is the lead health and fitness consultant for the Innergy App, a comprehensive wellness app which strives to help people lead happier, healthier and more fulfilled lives.

He is a contributing author to the best-selling book Meditation as Medication for the Soul. He regularly lectures on the benefits of a plant-based diet, meditation, and a healthy and active lifestyle. He is a dedicated husband and father to his wife and 2 children. He speaks English, Spanish, Hindi, and Punjabi.

How can I get to the Science of Spirituality International Meditation Center where the half-day retreat is being held?

Harmony in Health—Body, Mind, Spirit is held at the Science of Spirituality International Meditation Center, 4105 Naperville Road, Lisle, IL 60532. Parking is free. Entry is free. The mini-retreats take place from 10:30 AM–1 PM.

Do I need a ticket to enter the program?

We request that you register so that we can plan for the day, but there is no ticket or admission required.

Does this program cost anything?

This program, as well as all programs at the Science of Spirituality International Meditation Center, is free of charge. All are welcome.

Can I bring a pet?

Pets are not allowed at the program, but service animals such as seeing-eye dogs—with proper documentation—are allowed. Emotional support animals are not allowed at the program.

What are the transit options and parking for the half-day retreat?

Public transportation: Metra makes getting to the event easy. From the Lisle Train Station, take an approximately eight-minute Uber or Lyft ride to the Science of Spirituality International Meditation Center.

Uber and Lyft: Use 4105 Naperville Road, Lisle, IL 60532 as the destination. The drop-off is near the gates in front of the gold building; enter through the gold doors.

Parking: Parking is free.

For Spanish-speaking attendees: Spanish translation will be available.

Will the complimentary lunch accommodate my dietary needs?

A complimentary and healthy vegan lunch will be offered. Let our dining staff know if you are gluten-free or nut-free. We will accommodate dietary requests.
