IIT-Madras has announced the inaugural recipients of the Sant Rajinder Singh Ji academic scholarships in Engineering. In 2019, the Institution launched the Sant Rajinder Singh Ji chair in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences to advance the study of traditional Indian knowledge and philosophy.

On December 31st, the Government of the Department of Quindío in Colombia conferred upon Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj the Gran Cruz Extraordinaire (The Extraordinary Grand Cross), the highest honor from the department’s administration.
