The Joy of Meditation
Perhaps you already know the joy of meditation. Or maybe you are pursuing it for the first time. Whether we call it contemplation, mindfulness, or prayer with attention, every spiritual tradition recommends some form of meditation for a peaceful, fulfilling life. That’s because meditation opens the door to spiritual dimensions of profound love and serenity within us.
The practice taught in Sant Mat is meditation on the inner Light and Sound. It is unique in its simplicity and effectiveness. It requires no strenuous breath control, rigorous postures, or austere lifestyle. It can be practiced by anyone. We can easily add meditation to our daily routine and practice it in the comfort of our homes—in fact anywhere we can sit quietly and look within.
Through meditation, a whole new world opens up for us. By learning meditation, we can gain entry through a doorway that leads us to worlds of bliss, Light, and love within.
