Where is the nearest parking at the hotel?
There is no parking at the SOS Amityville Meditation Center on Saturday, May 23, or Monday, May 25. Arrangements have been made for attendees to conveniently park free of charge at the LIRR Amityville Train Station, North Parking Lot #1. From there, regular free SOS Shuttles will take attendees from North Lot #1 to the Center, returning after the program. Attendees can also come to the Center (via Merrick Road heading north on County Line Road) to drop off passengers and then park at the Station. Click here for map of the area.
Can I travel to the program via mass transit?
Yes. You can travel to the program using public transportation.
Take the LIRR, Babylon Line from Penn Station or Jamaica Station (Queens) to Amityville. Most local trains stop at Amityville, but please confirm when booking. Also, be sure to check the holiday schedule, as the program takes place over Memorial Day weekend.
After arriving at the Amityville station, proceed to North Parking Lot #1, where a free SOS Shuttle will be available to take you directly to the SOS Meditation Center event.
Note: The LIRR Amityville station is handicapped accessible.
Will there be provisions for child care during the programs?
Yes – there will be a designated location at the Center for children’s activities for kids 6 years and older, during the talks by Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj. For kids younger than 6 years, a parent/guardian must stay with them. Upon arrival, register your child at the registration desk, and details will be made available.
