Where Words End, Divine Love Begins

October 26, 2025

This Sunday evening in Kirpal Bagh, Delhi, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj spoke of the profound importance of silence on the path to God-realization. From childhood, we are taught to use words to express ourselves, to navigate and connect within the physical world. Over time, he said, we come to believe that the same is needed to communicate with the Creator.

When we pray, we often use words to convey our needs and desires. But are words really needed to reach God? As we draw closer to God, our perspective begins to transform in moments of deep silence. When we partake of the divine Light within, we awaken to the infinite vastness of the Creator.

God is all-knowing—the One who brought all of creation into being and who knows our past, present, and future. It is futile to think that we must reach out to the Divine through words. In the stillness where words fall away, true communion begins. Just as a mother intuitively knows her child’s needs, God, too, knows what is best for us. Living by the principle, “Sweet is Thy Will,” we gradually let go of desires and develop unwavering faith in the Divine. At this stage of complete acceptance, true communion begins—heart to heart, soul to soul.

Where words end, God’s love begins.  Through sincere meditation, the shedding of ego, and the recognition of our oneness with the Creator and all beings, we make rapid progress on the journey Godward.
