Meditate to Realize God

April 12, 2026

In his talk at Kirpal Bagh (Delhi) this day, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj spoke on the human condition and the ultimate goal of human life. He said we pursue knowledge and build careers across fields such as science, the arts, technology, and commerce, with our attention largely directed outward. This external world, shaped by constant sensory engagement, can create an illusion in which we become absorbed in roles and labels that ultimately lack lasting meaning.

In time, many begin to question the deeper purpose of their pursuits, recognizing that material success alone does not bring true inner fulfillment or lasting bliss.

The spiritual Master emphasized that the human form is a rare and precious gift. We are endowed with all the faculties needed to realize and experience God. By withdrawing our attention from the outer world and turning within, we can begin to access the inner spiritual treasures. The human body, he said, is but a vehicle, given to us to reach our ultimate goal of union with the Divine.

Sant Rajinder Singh Ji explained that both the soul and God reside within us, separated only by the barrier of the mind. To transcend this barrier, he urged seekers to live in the remembrance of the Creator and to remain mindful of their thoughts, words, and actions. Encouraging all to build a strong ethical foundation and engage in daily meditation, he affirmed that it is possible to realize God in this very lifetime by connecting with the inner Light.
