MYSTICISM, POETRY, AND THE PATH GODWARD

The Conference opened on September 13 with a Spiritual Tarahi Mushaira, an Urdu poetry symposium celebrating the mystic poetry of Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj. Renowned poets from across India composed original ghazals inspired by lines from the poet-saint’s work, exploring themes of divine love, humility, longing, and the soul’s journey toward God.

In his inaugural address, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj spoke of mystic poetry as more than literary expression, describing how it reveals inner spiritual truths and points seekers toward self-realization and God-realization. He emphasized meditation and the movement from separation toward oneness with God and all creation.

The following evening, September 14, marked the 105th birth anniversary of Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj. A special seminar, Darshan – An Ocean of Infinite Love and Compassion, brought together representatives of different faith traditions and international delegates to reflect on his legacy as a spiritual Master and mystic poet, and on his message of divine love, compassion, humility, and selfless service.

A GLOBAL CELEBRATION OF UNITY

The international spirit of the Conference continued through a Spiritual Cultural Program featuring performers from six continents. Singers and musicians from Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America, and Australia shared music from different cultures and languages, reflecting the diversity of the worldwide spiritual community.

SPIRITUALITY EXPRESSED THROUGH SERVICE

The Conference also placed a strong emphasis on selfless service to the wider community. On September 13, the 43rd Free Eye Checkup and Cataract Surgery Camp screened 1,987 people, with 1,000 individuals selected to receive free cataract surgery, extending the spirit of service beyond the Conference programs and into the surrounding community.
