11th Annual Divine Beauty Women’s Retreat Draws More Than 700 for Day of Self-Reflection and Connection
Lisle, Ill. — More than 700 women from across the Chicagoland area gathered on February 28, 2026, at the Science of Spirituality International Meditation Center in Lisle for the 11th annual Divine Beauty Women’s Retreat, a daylong event focused on sisterhood, self-reflection, and personal transformation.
Hosted by Science of Spirituality in partnership with the Institute for Meditation and Inner Harmony, the retreat is part of a global series that has taken place in the United States, Canada, Latin America, the Middle East, and India. The day’s agenda offered participants a carefully curated experience centered on spiritual well-being, self-discovery, and community connection.

Celebrating Leadership and Service
One of the morning’s highlights was the presentation of the 2026 Divine Beauty Women in Leadership Service Award to Shefali Trivedi, founder of A Better We, recognized for her spirit of leadership and community service. Accepting the honor, Trivedi emphasized the importance of compassion and service in everyday life, sharing “You only need a heart full of grace, and a soul generated by love. It is an honor to receive this award from those who truly exemplify selfless service.”

Inspiring Keynote and Talks on Intentional Living
Keynote speaker Dee M. Robinson, an entrepreneur and author of Courage by Design, encouraged attendees to take a more intentional approach to personal growth. Framing transformation as a process of rediscovery rather than reinvention, Robinson urged participants to define their own paths rather than defaulting to external expectations. “Divine Beauty is not about becoming someone new,” she said. “It is about remembering who you were before the world told you who to be.”
Zelma Chamberlain, M.Ed., followed with a talk on the role of meditation in helping us reconnect with our authentic self, introducing attendees to a simple technique of meditation, as taught by the Science of Spirituality that can help bring about emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being, leading to personal transformation.

Interactive Breakout Sessions at Full Capacity
Following a lunch prepared by volunteers of Science of Spirituality, attendees participated in breakout sessions by renowned experts in their fields reaching full capacity. Workshops included juicing for vitality with an authority on juicing, Linda Kordich, which highlighted the healing power of fruits and greens; journaling for self-discovery with Kathryn Kruger Ph.D., encouraging reflection and inner exploration; meditation for inner peace with Robyn Tittsworth, offering tools to begin or deepen one’s practice; and a session on gentle parenting with Rimjhim Duggal-Stephens M.D., which emphasized the importance of calm, centered living to better support our children.

A Day of Renewal and Connection
The retreat concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to volunteers and sponsors, acknowledging the collective effort that made the event possible. Participants left with a renewed sense of energy and perspective, carrying forward new insights and meaningful connections into their daily lives.

Community Collaboration
The Divine Beauty Women’s Retreat continues to grow in attendance each year, reflecting a rising interest in deeper connection – with oneself, with others, and with a sense of purpose and meaning beyond the demands of daily life.
The event was supported by a range of local and regional organizations, including Innergy, Bridge Communities, DuPage County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, Aurora Regional Economic Alliance, Aurora Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Manna Kitchen, Nature’s Path, A Better We, Pulse, Veggie Fest, and InspiHER.
